US: Postgraduate Associate/Researcher
The Section of Neuropathology at Yale University, Department of Surgery is looking for a thoughtful post-graduate student to work in a medical school laboratory on models of dementia, especially those related to human Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease and BSE (aka "mad cow disease"). 


Opportunities cover a broad range of approaches including animal and tissue culture models, molecular drug and transformation studies, and immuno and electron microscopy. Some basic science knowledge needed as well as some lab experience such as western blots and/or tissue culture and plasmid constructs. Students who have experience in molecular and cell biology and/or related neuroscience labs would be the best fit. See website for more detailed scientific information and papers
